Tuesday's Racing Tips - Lay Bets
4:55 Southwell - JAZZ LEGEND hasn't even been placed in 4 all-weather runs but hasn't run on this surface but his trainer is 0-18 here also in this race NOVEBRIDGE 7/1 has only produced slow times and this surface doesn't seem to suit it.
5:05 Newmarket - OLD FASHIONED doesn't look as though it will like the going if it's on the firm side of good also in the race VIBRANT CHORDS 5/1 may need this run to gain fitness and also looks as though a longer trip suits it better.

Wesley Ward has reason for Lady Aurelia's disappointment in Cheveley Park
Wesley Ward has found a plausible excuse for why Lady Aurelia ran below par yesterday >>> https://t.co/8NDT6onaOD pic.twitter.com/IqgW46Wr5j— Racing UK (@Racing_UK) September 25, 2016
Lady Aurelia was found to have bled when scoped following her disappointment in the Cheveley Park Stakes Group 1 at Newmarket.
Ward said: "It was a head-scratcher and disappointing, but when we got back to the barn the vet scoped her and she ended up having bled with a score of three out of five, which, in a Group One, is enough to get you beat, probably.
"It's not good that she bled, but at least it's a bit of an answer as to the reason why she didn't kick on that last little bit of the race.
"She's going to her owner's Stonestreet Farm for about 90 days. We'll pick her up in the first part of the year, get her going and hopefully we'll be able to get her back for Ascot for next year."

1:35 Newmarket - BRITISH STALLION STUDS EBF MAIDEN FILLIES´ STAKES (Plus 10 Race) (CLASS 4) (2yo)
An EBF Maiden Stakes (Plus 10) over 1m on good going. A very interesting race with a number of well-regarded two-year-olds.
Sobetsu is held in high regard by Charlie Appleby. She will be suited by this extra furlong and expect to improve a good deal on that first start. Would go well and looks an ideal horse to put in an each-way double or treble.
Quite interested to see how God Given goes for Luca Cumani. This homebred daughter of Nathaniel is related to Postponed. This filly is one of the better juveniles in the stable and the betting suggests a big run is expected. This horse will be winning this season.
An outsider worthy of some respect is Curtsy. She showed very little on debut but is another from a trainer who can spring a surprise second start and at huge odds may have something to offer each-way bettors.
